Despite global maritime disruptions—from supply chain instability to geopolitical tensions—Vietnamese seaports continue to ensure smooth cargo flows. Within this landscape, SSIT remains one of Vietnam’s most modern deep-water terminals, consistently handling ultra-large vessels operating direct services between Vietnam and the U.S.2025: A Year of Impresses and Breakthroughs

In 2025, SSIT achieved nearly 1 million TEUs, up 45% from 2024. The terminal successfully received multiple ultra-large MSC vessels, including MSC ELOANE and MSC RIFAYA (19,462 TEUs), reaffirming SSIT’s operational capability and global shipping lines’ confidence. SSIT also expanded its customer portfolio by welcoming ZIM for their first calls at the terminal.Modern Investment - Stronger Operations

To meet rising regional demand, SSIT accelerated equipment modernization and capacity expansion.
